Josh Mc Dowell, in his famous work, "Evidence that demands a verdict - historical evidences for the Christian faith" (ISBN 1 872059 05 8) purports to inform his readers of the historical evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ.
Mc Dowell is frequently cited by theist virgins in alt.atheism on this and in many other areas. As such I thought it might be instructive to take a look at what he actually wrote, and see if there are any problems with it.
